Parties and roles
These terms apply to the on-site inspections listed on this website. The roles are distinct and are stated before you order:
- Contracting party (seller of record)
- Gulyás Adrián e.v. · registration no. 51798958 · tax no. 71462004-1-41 · seat 1039 Budapest, Hadrianus utca 9. 4. em. 11. ajtó
- Performs the inspection
- Gulyás Adrián e.v. · registration no. 51798958 · tax no. 71462004-1-41 · seat 1039 Budapest, Hadrianus utca 9. 4. em. 11. ajtó
- Issues the invoice
- the seller of record
- Operator of the platform, issuer of the report
- Codelit 40 Production Management Zrt. · registration no. 01-10-141719 · tax no. 27719206-2-41
Codelit 40 Production Management Zrt. operates this website and the booking platform, developed the inspection methodology, and issues, digitally signs and publishes the report on its own infrastructure. It is not a party to the sales contract for the listed services.
Fleet orders are based on individual quotes; each quote names its seller, which may be Codelit 40 Production Management Zrt. invoicing with VAT.
The service
The packages and what each includes:
Full condition report
- AVILOO FLASH battery test with the original certificate
- Paint-thickness map of the metal body panels on a drawing of your model
- Tread depth on all four tyres (inner, centre, outer)
- Climate check: cooling and heating at the vents (infrared surface readings)
- On supported models (currently Dacia Spring): read-only fault-code readout and vehicle-reported battery data, with every control unit that could not be reached listed
- Digitally signed report with QR verification and PDF; raw measurement data kept as evidence
Battery test
- AVILOO FLASH test of the traction battery, on site
- AVILOO certificate with the state-of-health estimate and the checks it lists
- No signed BATTOCAN report – that comes with the full condition report
Prices, the usual lead time, how long the car is needed and when the report is available are shown on the prices page for each package; the values in force when you order apply to your order.
Service area: Budapest, Surroundings of Budapest. Travel within the service area is included in the price. For locations outside the service area we charge a travel fee of HUF 150 per kilometre, based on the round-trip distance from the Budapest city boundary. We confirm the exact amount in writing before you order, so please send us an enquiry with the location first.
Lead time, on-site duration and report turnaround are three separate figures; none of them describes the depth or conclusiveness of the inspection.
What the report certifies – and what it does not
The report records the values measured or read on the day of the inspection, each with its source, and states everything that could not be assessed. In particular:
- It is not an official roadworthiness test and not an accredited certificate; its seal is the operator’s own brand mark.
- It does not confirm entitlement to a manufacturer’s warranty.
- It does not confirm that all of the vehicle’s systems are free from faults.
- The AVILOO FLASH value is a state-of-health estimate calculated by AVILOO, not a full capacity (discharge) test.
- A value read from the vehicle’s battery management is a figure reported by the vehicle, not an independent measurement.
- An incomplete diagnostic scan is not a clean bill of health; fault codes never stand for battery health.
- Control units that did not answer are listed, and their condition is stated as not assessable.
- Paint-thickness readings are an indicative sample; plastic and glass parts cannot be measured.
- The climate check is a screening of vent surface temperatures, not a refrigerant or system diagnosis.
- It does not predict future faults: components can fail later for reasons no inspection can foresee.
If these terms and the report’s own statement of scope and limitations ever differ, the narrower statement applies.
Ordering
You order through the booking form. You receive an order number and a confirmation page straight away; it shows the seller, the price, the tax treatment and the versions of these terms and of the privacy policy that apply to your order.
The contract is concluded when the seller confirms the appointment. Orders for more than one vehicle, or for a location outside the service area, are handled through an individual quote.
A package that does not apply to your vehicle type cannot be ordered for it.
Prices, payment and invoice
The price shown is the final amount payable, the same for consumers and businesses. The price, tax treatment and package contents in force when you order are recorded with your order and are not affected by later changes.
Tax treatment of the listed services: Hungarian small-business VAT exemption (alanyi adómentesség, AAM). VAT exempt: the seller applies the Hungarian small-business VAT exemption (Chapter XIII of Act CXXVII of 2007 on VAT). No VAT is charged and none can be deducted.
An introductory price applies only until the date stated next to it and ends automatically after that date.
Payment due: on the spot, at the end of the inspection.
Payment methods accepted on the spot: agreed when the appointment is confirmed. No payment is taken on this website.
The official invoice is issued by the seller of record in its external invoicing system. You receive it electronically by e-mail, or on paper on request.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You can cancel or reschedule your appointment free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed start time, by e-mail or phone. If you let us know later, or if the inspection cannot be carried out on site for reasons outside our control (for example, the vehicle is not accessible, the key is missing or the vehicle cannot be started), we will agree a new appointment with you; we do not charge consumers an extra fee for this. If we are unable to attend, we will let you know as soon as possible and offer a new appointment free of charge; if that does not suit you, we will refund any amount already paid in full within 14 days. These rules do not affect a consumer’s statutory right of withdrawal. Individual contracts with business and fleet customers may differ.
Consumers: right of withdrawal
If you conclude a contract with us as a consumer, i.e. outside your trade, business or profession, at a distance (for example online or by phone) or off our business premises, you may withdraw from it within 14 days of its conclusion without giving any reason. To do so, send us a clear statement, for example by e-mail to the address given in the Contact section or by post to our registered seat; you may use the model withdrawal form under Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), but this is not mandatory. To meet the deadline, it is enough to send your statement before the withdrawal period expires. If you withdraw, we will refund all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of being informed of your withdrawal, using the same means of payment you used, at no extra cost to you. If you expressly asked us to start the inspection within the withdrawal period and you withdraw after we have started, you must pay a proportionate amount for the service already provided. If we have fully performed the inspection after you expressly asked us to begin and acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal once the service is fully performed, you can no longer withdraw. The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts concluded as a business or fleet operator.
When you book an inspection that will take place within the withdrawal period, the booking form asks whether you expressly request performance within that period; your answer is recorded with the order.
At the inspection
- The vehicle must be accessible at the agreed place and time, with its key, and with the owner’s consent if you are not the owner.
- The diagnostic readouts are carried out only with the vehicle stationary and not in drive-ready mode.
- The ignition position and the vehicle state at the time of each readout are recorded in the report.
- The inspector may stop or decline any step that would not be safe.
- Diagnostics are read-only: no fault code is cleared, nothing is coded, programmed or actuated.
Delivery of the report
The signed report is available at the time stated for the package (for the listed packages: at the end of the inspection). You receive it as a QR code on the document you can show or print, as a link by e-mail, and as a downloadable PDF. Its language is fixed when it is closed and signed.
The public verification page stays available for 24 months.
A correction is issued as a new, numbered revision; the earlier revision remains on record.
Liability
The inspection records the vehicle’s condition at the time of the inspection, within the scope stated in the report. There is no liability for faults that the stated methods and scope cannot detect, or that arise later.
Liability is otherwise governed by the Hungarian Civil Code. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for intentional or grossly negligent conduct and for harm to life, physical integrity or health.
Complaints
Send complaints in writing; we forward complaints concerning the sale or the invoice to the seller of record. Written complaints from consumers are answered in writing within 30 days. Contact: info@battocan.com.
If a consumer complaint is rejected, you may turn to the conciliation body (békéltető testület) competent for your place of residence or for the seller’s registered seat; the list of conciliation bodies is available at www.bekeltetes.hu.
You may also contact the consumer protection authority (the competent government office) or bring the matter before a court.
Personal data
How personal data is processed in this service is described in the privacy policy.
Governing law and language
Hungarian law applies. These terms are available in Hungarian and English; in case of a discrepancy, the Hungarian version prevails. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence are not affected.
Versions
Each version of these terms has an identifier and a date. The version you accepted with your order applies to that order, and every issued report records the version under which it was produced; earlier versions remain retrievable.
